Heaten develops, produces and sells unique large-scale high-temperature heat pumps in the megawatt-range and above. Where the usual industrial heat pump market stops at temperatures of around 90°C, Heaten’s technology is designed for up to 200 °C and higher. For our German branch in Remscheid we are searching for an experienced technician or engineer with a high level of technical insights to take on the overall responsibility for our test facilities, test activities and the validation of ongoing technological developments. Tasks – Responsibilities:

  • Management of the department lined with the objectives of the company
  • Developing and implementing department-specific strategies
  • Planning, detailing, coordinating and executing testing activities
  • Ensuring that the right personnel, the right test-equipment and the right tools are available
  • Coordination between different workgroups (R&D – Testing – external Tech-Consultants etc.)
  • Coordination of test result analyses in collaboration with R&D and test engineers
  • Compliance with all relevant QHSE specifications, regulations and legislation

Qualification:

  • Successfully completed technological studies or comparable education
  • Minimum 5 years experience within relevant field (testing – process-technology etc.)
  • Experience from practical system-test-applications or commissioning of process-systems
  • Experience with development and quality processes as well as in personnel management
  • Strong planning and organizational skills, strategic thinking, communication skills, flexibility
  • High degree of result orientation, assertiveness, resilience and decision-making ability
  • General high level of technical insight, preferable in thermodynamics and fluid mechanics
  • Fluent in German and English
